Looking out across the sea from the beach at Porthcurno, you are presented with the striking view of Treryn Dinas, where the Logan Rock balances precariously on its rocky podium. I spent a carefree childhood roaming the cliffs and beaches here and I’ve witnessed all aspects of the sea’s relationship with the land in this special part of Cornwall. If I close my eyes I can transport myself to this place and hear the familiar crash of the sea as it pounds the shore. This painting celebrates all of the above.
Painted in acrylics with brush and palette knife and with two coats of varnish applied for extra UV protection. Sides are painted white.
Designed to be hung without a frame, but also suitable for framing.
